Artsy Fartsy

After a zillion years, I tried drawing again. This may sound emo or what not, but when my last relationship ended, I kind of went bitter and kind of hated drawing. Yeah I was a cool kid. So I tried with the basic first, oil pastel!

And if you might be wondering, the last one's the finished product. Yup. And I have no idea why I took pictures after coloring each part. It doesn't look too good here, I just used my camera phone. But I swear in person, it looks nice! Nevertheless, I'm proud of my work. I mean, it's not that bad for someone who haven't held art materials for like 3 years right? HEHE

And here's one I'm thinking of doing on canvas

See how much of a draft it is? Drew this at the back of a phone bill. Hey, I'm eco-friendly!:)

Man who set the Philippines on fire today? It's soooo hot! Anyway, summer vacation has officially started! Plans are still vague but definitely will make the most out this long break since school will resume on April 16! (That's a month long break which is the longest break in our school)

Mi Bibidoggy

Meet my dog, Lassie

Taken using Vignette app for Android! Here's another one

Hehehe this is Lassie waiting for food to miraculously fall (my sister was eating!) It's funny how dogs seem to know how to look cute!

Anyway, it's late at night again and I'm still studying for my finals! I swear after this week, I'll hit the malls and have my most awaited retail therapy! Haven't had one for so long.

If you're an Android user, you might notice that they renamed Android Market to Play Store plus they also changed the thumbnail. I was surprised to see a Play Store app so I tried to uninstall it thinking it's a bug or something. Google says they changed the name in the hope of gaining a larger market. They are encouraging developers to create something for them.

So enough of the procrastination. I'll be going back to my studying. This would probably be an all nighter!

Watsons Whitening Milk & Salt Scrub

Lately I've been eyeing on how uneven my skin tone is. I blame the weather plus I commute almost daily to school! So I decided to buy this yesterday:

(Used my phone cam)

Bought it at Watsons (Thank you captain obvious!) SM Cubao. It only costs 99 Pesos for 600 grams! I couldn't tell you still on how effective it is. But from it's price, well I wouldn't expect a significant impact instantaneously. I'd give it a month or so before giving my verdict. Other brands offer almost the same quality and end result as this so I strongly think they're all the same. This one though, has papaya extract so it's perfect for exfoliation and whitening! Talk about hitting two birds with one stones, eh? No? Okay.

Anyway, I used it this morning for the first time. The directions say to pour the scrub on your palm and apply it on wet/damp skin in circular motion then leave it for three minutes. And I, being a law-abiding citizen, did exactly just that.
How it felt: The bottle says it is suitable for sensitive skin, so I guess it felt okay. Well what do you expect to feel from salt right? I suggest not to rub it too hard though. AND! May I add to wash skin first with soap then rinse before applying the scrub to not aggregate the skin too much!
The smell: No smell at all (or maybe I just had colds. Teehee :D). Basically nothing too pungent. So that's good.
The taste: Call me gross but I tasted it. Of course just one grain. Duh. Heeeheeeeee. It tasted salty (as promised).

After three minutes of staring at the label of the product, I rinsed as instructed. I dried my skin and the scrub felt rejuvenating for my skin. Of course it didn't whiten agad. But my skin felt softer (slight!).

So I guess I'll be using this everyday to see full results. As far as using it once, it was alright. I've used body scrubs before and this one, I can say, feels effective because a)there was a kind of tingling sensation after application and b)it tasted salty which usually is a good thing or IDK maybe I'm just sleepy because it's like 1.30 in the morning. Heehee.

I've read good reviews for Watsons Whitening Milk & Salt Scrub so I say this is a good buy!

In other unrelated news about how exciting my life is, I just downloaded Retro Camera for Android (see above photos) and I'm excited to use all the cameras that app has to offer! Also, I just finished studying 1/4 of my GG subject so I'm happy with that but not quite since my brain is shutting down. So goodnight lovelies <3 I need to wake up early to study(again!) for my finals! Summer vacation's coming up so let's get these school works over and done with!

Don't Read

Because for me, It'll always be you. No matter what I do, where I run to, who I'm with, it will always be your face that I'd see each time I wake up, your voice I'd hear each time silence breaks, and your name I'd whisper when hard times hit.

But could you just imagine how hard it was to finally understand what us really meant? Unbearable. Nothing could amount to the pain knowing that what you've been holding on for so long is just a intricate web of lies. I think nothing's worse than that --knowing that what you knew was real, was all just a carefully directed act of deceit. Because there's nothing you can really do to salvage the memories. You can't really save something that wasn't supposed to be saved. That's what made it hurt more, there's nothing I can do to bring even just a little of our memories back.

Maybe sorry is all I can say. I'm sorry for trying so hard to hold on when you weren't even holding my hand anymore. I'm sorry for keeping the memories for so long that I've overlooked the fact that you won't even look back and think of it. I'm sorry because I'll never forget half the things you won't even remember.

You were always my favorite rockstar:)
